Day 4
Parent Pick-Up/Drop Off:
Students dropped off by parents in the morning between 7:15 & 7:30 should report to the Auditorium after entering the front lobby. No students are permitted to enter the classroom hallways until 7:30 am. Students need to be in their homerooms for morning attendance by 7:45. If you are just entering school at 7:45 am, you are late for school considered tardy. If you arrive at school too late to make it to homeroom by 7:45 for attendance, you need to sign in at the front office.
Attendance Office:
**If you have an appointment, are leaving early or are going on vacation, you must fill out an Emergency Permit (EP) or bring a note from home. Please bring the note or EP to the main office. On the day of your appointment/leaving early/vacation, when we call for you, you MUST SIGN OUT AT THE ATTENDANCE WINDOW.**
Cell Phone Policy:
All cell phones are to be turned OFF and placed in your backpack or locker.

Attention All Students: BUS PASSES WILL ONLY BE ISSUED FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS!
LATE ACTIVITY BUS
- The after-school shuttle buses are located on the side of the building by the Cafeteria. Please use the side lobby doors which are right next to the cafeteria.
- If you are participating in a sport or school-related activity, please note the following:
- Going to OMS after school, you need to take the After School Shuttle Bus #133. You should be dismissed at 2:30pm. The shuttle buses leave PROMPTLY at 2:38pm
- Going to Parkland High School, you need to take the Shuttle bus is #PHS 18. The bus will leave PROMPTLY at 2:43 pm.

*Attention Chess Club!
Click here for the meeting dates for 6th and 7th/8th grade Chess Club. Please show up to room A236 (Mr. Waters) on your designated dates. The club will run from 2: 45- 4:10 PM. Please have parents pick you up at 4:10 PM or take the Activity Bus home. Contact Mr. Waters with any questions..
* The next GSA meeting will be Wednesday, January 14 at 2:45 PM in Dr. Steigerwalt's room. All are welcome.
* All 8th grade girl soccer players interested in being a part of PHS Soccer program are asked to attend along with their parents on Today 2/9/26 from 8PM-9PM in C-200 at PHS. Please enter through the Main doors at the front of school. Info about our program, off season training, tryout info & season expectations. * Do you enjoy reading? Do you enjoy drawing and creating artwork? Then this is the contest for you! Junior Library Guild is running a contest for students to design their own bookmarks! Winners will have their design professionally printed and distributed throughout our district! Stop by the media center for an entry form. ALL submissions must be in by March 5th.
